The common vehicle has been integrated into our life. With the implementation of environmental protection concepts, electric vehicles are becoming more and more popular. This low-carbon and environmentally friendly travel has always been advocated by the country. How can new energy vehicles be charged? commonly New energy vehicle charging pile The manufacturer has rich experience in this field, so let's get to know if you are interested.
1、 Use a three hole socket and a charging cable for charging
Use a standard plug and socket with a rated current of no more than 16A to charge directly at home, which can be fully charged in about 8-10 hours.
The three eye socket used by household users has two specifications, 10A and 16A. The size of 16A plug and socket will be larger. SAIC New Energy Vehicles are equipped with a charging line, one end is connected to a three hole socket, and the other end is connected to the vehicle charging port to realize charging.
The supplied charging line is 16A, so it cannot be plugged into 10A socket. Do not use various non-standard adapter plugs to avoid safety risks.
2、 Charging with AC charging pile
The electric vehicle is charged directly on the AC network with higher current by using the charging pile, and the charging time is about 4 hours.
The power of slow charging pile is usually 3.5kW and 7kW, which depends on the rated input power of on-board charger. As far as single-phase AC charging is concerned, the current rated input current of on-board charger is divided into two main streams: 16A and 32A, with 16 * 220 ≈ 3.5kW and 32 * 220 ≈ 7kW.
The on-board charger can intelligently identify whether it is connected to the three eye socket or the charging pile. Even if the power of the on-board charger is 7kW, it will intelligently limit the charging power to the range that the access cable can bear to ensure charging safety.
The above two charging methods for new energy vehicles are slow charging, which takes a long time to charge. The AC power supply is converted from a low power on-board charger to DC to charge the battery.
