1. Overview of AC pile
AC pile is a power supply device that is fixed outside the electric vehicle and connected with the AC power grid to provide AC power for the electric vehicle on-board charger. The single-phase/three-phase AC output from the AC pile is converted into DC through the on-board charger to charge the on-board battery. The power is generally small (7kw, 22kw, 40kw, etc.), and the charging speed is generally slow, so it is generally installed in the parking lot of the community and other places.
2. AC pile classification
Classification method name description
Installation site: The public charging pile is built in the public parking lot combined with the car parking space to provide public charging service for social vehicles.
The special charging pile construction unit has its own parking lot, which is used by internal personnel of the unit.
Self use charging piles are built in private garages to provide charging piles for private users.
Installation mode The floor mounted charging pile is suitable for installation in the parking space not close to the wall.
The wall mounted charging pile is suitable for installation in the parking space near the wall.
The number of charging guns is only one charging pile for a single gun, and generally there are more AC piles.
Two guns have two charging posts, both DC and AC.
3. Composition of AC charging pile
The AC charging pile mainly has four modules from outside to inside: AC pile column, AC pile shell, AC charging gun and AC pile master control.
3.1 AC charging pile column
AC charging piles are generally wall mounted and floor mounted. Floor mounted charging piles generally require columns, which are an important part of floor mounted charging piles and are made of high-strength aluminum alloy materials. It is the supporting structure of the charging pile, supporting an important part of the battery when charging, so its quality and structural stability are very important.
3.2 AC pile shell
The shell of the charging pile is mainly used to fix/protect the internal components. The shell from top to bottom includes: indicator light, display screen, card reader, emergency stop button and shell switch.
1. Indicator light: indicates the running status of the whole machine.
2. Display screen: the display screen can control the operation of the whole machine and display the operation status and parameters of the whole machine.
3. Card reader: It supports physical card pulling and swiping to start the charging pile and settle the charging fees.
4. Emergency stop button: In case of emergency, press the emergency stop button to close the charging pile.
5. Shell switch: the switch of the charging pile shell, which can enter into the charging pile after being opened.
3.3 AC charging gun
The charging gun is mainly used to connect the vehicle charging interface to charge the vehicle. According to the current new national standard, the AC pile charging gun has 7 holes. The charging post mainly includes three parts: charging gun wiring base, charging gun and charging gun base.
1. Charging gun wiring base: connect the charging pile, fix the charging gun wire body, and connect the charging gun to the charging pile shell from here.
2. Charging gun: connect the charging post and the car charging port to charge the car.
3. Charging gun holder: the place where the charging gun is placed without charging.
3.4 Main control of AC pile
The main control of the AC charging pile is the brain or heart of the AC charging pile, which controls the operation and data of the whole charging pile. The core modules of the master control are as follows:
1. Microprocessor module
The microprocessor is one of the core components of the AC pile motherboard, which can process commands from users and control the operation of the AC pile accordingly. This module includes central processing unit (CPU), memory, clock and other necessary integrated circuits.
2. Communication module
The AC pile needs to communicate with the background server and mobile terminal. The communication module can provide various interfaces, such as Ethernet, RS485, cell network, etc. This module is mainly responsible for transmitting the data of the AC pile to the background server or mobile terminal to achieve remote monitoring and management.
3. New energy vehicle charging control module
This module is connected with other electronic components on the AC pile main board to control the whole charging process. It is responsible for identifying the vehicle model, confirming the charging demand, determining the appropriate charging mode and charging power, and monitoring various parameters in the charging process, such as charging current, voltage, etc. 4. Safety protection module
In the AC pile main board, the safety protection module is responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of the charging process. It can detect battery power, voltage, temperature and other data during charging, and ensure the safety of vehicles and users during charging through system control.
5. Sensor module
The sensor module can collect various data of the environment where the AC pile main board is located, such as temperature, humidity, combustible gas concentration, etc. These data can be used to optimize the use efficiency of AC poles and ensure the safety, reliability and efficiency of the entire charging process.
